HATCHBOX PLA 3D Printer Filament, Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.03 mm, 1 kg Spool, 1.75 mm, Gray

Welcome to HATCHBOX 3D Products Our engineered filament is here to help you stream your creative outlet, enabling you to see your thoughts and concepts engineered into a real and rewarding reality. The filaments are universally designed and compatible with 3D Printers using 1.75mm diameter filament, with a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.03mm.  PLA, or Polylactic Acid, is a commonly used thermoplastic material that does not require the use of a heated print bed. Blending a mixture of plant-based materials and polymers creates HATHCHBOX 3D Printer’s PLA. Because of the lower melting temperatures and lack of warping, PLA filaments retain their color vibrancy and are a common choice for displays or small household prints. The 3D printed object will have a glossy type finish with we love it: Less warping Easy to use No heated bed required.

  1. and this roll has been the worst. I was in need of a good Gray/Silver … Not entirely sure what’s up here with this spool/color. I have a few miles of filament printed across about 10 different kinds of spools from largely cheap PLA filaments, and this roll has been the worst. I was in need of a good Gray/Silver filament that didn’t use exotic materials (eg impacting my nozzle) and due to availability and review issues for other stuff, I chose to grab this. Unfortunately it appears the most recent reviews may be indicative of the current shipping quality…

  2. Surprised with the negative reviews on this PLA. I use Hatchbox EXCLUSIVELY and have done so for 2 years. I print cosplay props and armored suits for a living and there is NO SUBSTITUTE for this stuff in this price range. Having tried many brands I settled on Hatch along time ago. That said, I can go through up to 4-6 spools of Hatchbox a week. Both in 1.75 and 3.0mm diameters (I own 2 Creality CR-10’s and a Lulzbot Taz 6). Call me lucky, but I have never had a tangled spool, but I can see…
